Why a Wholesale Parts Program.

At TSS service is our main business. If your fleet vehicle has mechanical problems and you have it repaired at Toledo Spring, Brake & Alignment Service you know from past experience that 95% of the time your vehicle will be ready by 6:30 AM the next day and in many cases it may be repaired that same day. We run two shifts at Toledo Spring Service so our customers can get repairs completed with same day service and minimum $$$ off-road time.

Maintaining this volume of service work means we must have parts in stock to service our clients promptly! We have over $1,000,000 in warehouse parts inventory! We order twice weekly for springs, shocks, brake chambers and ALL other suspension and related parts. Special order and overnight expedited ordering is no problem for our experienced parts professionals.

When Brad Rubini, our President started calling on several customers he found that we got the hard, labor intensive jobs, and most of the trucking firms would do the easy work and get their parts from the local parts houses. They could supply the small easy to install parts they needed for minor maintenance on their fleet vehicles. Our inquires indicated most fleet shop managers considered our shop too expensive for the small or light maintenance operations. They are correct!! We have a very large shop with ALL the overhead of Shop Liability Insurance, Workers Comp, FICA Taxes, 401k plan, Health Insurance and more.

We did a test with a customer who averaged $ 2000 a month in shop work and, in their busy time would spend up to $ 10,000.00 per month in shop service repairs. We separated the business into two groups Shop and Parts. The overhead for our parts wholesale program is considerably less than our retail shop operation.

Since developing our pilot wholesale parts program our TEST account has averaged $ 3,260.00 per month with a high of $ 5,400.00 in over-the-counter parts sales. This is ALL parts sales with no decrease in their service work performed at our shop. With over 100 dump and cement trucks this customer is very price conscience and chose TSS to supply their fleet service parts.

With this new lower operation cost and overhead we have been able to really CUT prices to YOU, our end parts users.
